Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Very strong with apples. bee’s wax, frseshly cut pine wood, ripe cantakoupe melons, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: Baked apples with cinnamon, papaya, vanilla, toffee, hints of toasted hazelnuts, pepper and hints of chili.
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: The wood has done a fine job here, the aromas are pleasantly spicy but not overwehelmingly so. The fruits play second fiddle here.
